Lots of my students getting excited about the new 2018 Rockschool syllabus and playing these tunes, so thought I’d put some video demos up of these :) Recorded as a reference for students learning this piece. Audio recorded directly into iPhone. This is from the Grade 3 book, 2018 syllabus. They’re great tracks to groove along to. Whilst it would be nice to have some vocals in the mix (!) it’s good practice following the repeats on the char without vocal cues to guide us! Also good preparation for the real world of being a gigging drummer, where singers often turn round to you for their cue to come in etc, rather than the other way round!!!
