George 'Little Hat' Jones made his recording debut backing Texas Alexander on eight songs in June 1929. Six days later he recorded this solo number. More of his music is available on YT. Jones was rediscovered and recorded again in 1964.

About Little Hat Jones

Country blues singer and guitarist. Born: October 5, 1899 on a farm near the Sulphur River in Bowie County, Texas Died: March 7, 1981 at the Municipal Hospital in Linden, Cass County, Texas He recorded for OKeh Records in San Antonio, Texas, in 1929-1930. He also accompanied Texas Alexander on a 1929 session.
