Off stage, Rae Solomon may be known as Seattle's country darling, but, make no mistake, the moment she steps into the spotlight her high energy sass leaves her audiences begging for more. Possessing a very rare 'perfect pitch capability' Rae's bold voice jumps through the speakers and cuts through all the clutter you hear today. "The stage is my time to connect. I want to captivate people and make them feel something!" says Solomon. "Music is so much more than just music. It's feeling and emotion and memories." The former Rodeo Queen began her performance career on the front porch of her childhood home, writing songs by age 7 and belting out “Friends In Low Places” to neighbors and passers-by. At age 13 she began training with world renowned vocal coach Maestro David Kyle and after a successful trip to the International Presentation of Performers in 2007, where she won two awards, Solomon began attending the prestigious Berklee College of Music. Now she is gaining major attention in the country music industry. In 2011 Rae won Tom Jackson's Top Performer Award. Tom is a live music producer who has worked with artists such as Taylor Swift and The Band Perry. On working with Tom Rae had this to say, "It was such an honor to work with someone as talented as Tom Jackson. To win the Top Performer award on top of that, among a pool of such great musicians, was one of life's unexpected surprises and such an honor." Since then Rae has been taking over some of the biggest stages and opening for an array of country music's heavy hitters including Blake Shelton, Chris Cagle, Love and Theft, Sawyer Brown, Lonestar, Crystal Gayle, Blaine Larsen and many more."This last year has been so amazing! I feel so fortunate to have shared the stage with musicians who are so talented and successful." says Solomon. Solomon's effervescent personality manages to win over both the crowd and critics. After experiencing one of her shows in 2011, Seattle country station 94.1 KMPS had this to say, "The night started with hometown sweetheart Rae Solomon. With her gorgeous vocals and fantastic band backing her up, she surely stole every heart in the audience!" Solomon worked hard penning new music for her self-titled EP in 2012. The EP features 7 songs, one of which is a co-written duet with country star Benton Blount. However, the real stand out from the EP is "Chasing the Sunset". A ballad that beautifully shows off what Rae's songwriting and voice are capable of. The single is backed by a vibrant music video that highlights her innate ability to capture an audience through her unusually high level of vocal power, precision and range. So what's next for this budding country star? For an artist like Rae Solomon, the sky is the limit. In regards to her talent - both natural and developed, we've only seen the proverbial "tip of the iceberg" so far. A musical career is about to roll out in front of her that is even bigger than she is aware of. You can count of that!
