Kitchens Of Distinction - New Dawn Fades (Soundcheck 25-2-93)
Just a taster from the tapes that Dan sent me to digitise. This was recorded at a soundcheck in Salt Lake City, in 1993. Kitchens played few cover versions live (although their alter-egos, The Toilets of Destruction did indulge), but this is a song that I'd never heard them play before and it's a full, balls out take on the Joy Division song. Kitchens of Distinction are an English rock band formed in Tooting, South London in 1986. The trio consist of lead singer and bassist Patrick Fitzgerald, guitarist Julian Swales and drummer Daniel Goodwin.
