Gold Can Turn to Sand - Tribute to Josh Groban

I already had a Josh Groban album in my collection & admired his fine singing voice, but was knocked out during the end credits of the superb Movie THE CHOIR, when I heard Josh singing "The Mystery of Your Gift". This fine song, written & performed by Josh & Brian Byrne, was a revelation to me & as soon as the shops opened on Sunday 29th. November I drove out to buy Josh's latest album, STAGES. Sadly for me, The Mystery of Your Gift didn't feature on the album but just one listen convinced me that I had spent my money wisely, as STAGES is a beautifully crafted album with Josh adding an extra dimension to many familiar Show Songs, but also introducing me to "Gold Can Turn To Sand" a Benny Anderson, Tim Rice & Bjorn Ulvaeus song which I strongly identify with. I captured this video early this morning & it depicts some classic evidence of Gold turning to Sand e.g. Commander John Smith the Top Captain of The Titanic which sank on her Maiden Voyage, the terrible First World War & The Martyr's Plaque in Lichfield. I tried to lighten up the video with photographs of the beautiful Xmas Trees on show at St. Editha's Church in Tamworth.
