Talk Talk: Living in Another Deep Dive a Gas Masks & Hand Grenades Deep Dive

Join my daughter Maddie @maddiemoonsart and I @ 8:00 PM EST on 8/8/23, as we dive into the amazing 5 album catalog of the band Talk Talk, who started their career as a rather sophisticated synth pop band but quickly morphed into an almost uncategorizable post rock band that wrote songs of remarkable emotional depth and sparse musical complexity. One of the most important UK "pop" bands that have gotten far more attention after they called it quits than while they were actually an ongoing concern. We lost the irreplaceable Mark Hollis (vocals, multi-instrumentalist, writer) in 2019, but the magic he, Lee Harris, and Paul Webb created is truly timeless to my ears. So join us in celebrating an incredibly important and underrated band that is a personal fave, and one you should check out if you are unfamiliar with them. Not surprisingly there is no website for Talk Talk but the Facebook links below has a good bit of info relative to the band and links to merch I believe.
