A look at the "Michael" album fake tracks controversy.

https://www.billboard.com/pro/michael-jackson-vocals-faked-after-death-podcast-host/ This topic has come back because the same family involved in creating these tracks in the Michael album are now suing the Michael Jackson Estate for abuse. Here's some background on the controversy. The Jackson family were the first to raise the alarm about the tracks: "Monster" "Breaking News" and "Keep Your Head Up". Vera Serova sued Sony Music over the songs and the case went all the way to the California Supreme Court. Sony Music admitted in court that they were duped by the Cascios and that indeed the songs were fakes. Sony agreed to remove the songs from the album. The podcast called Faking Michael comes out, it details everything that went on behind the scenes, including how Jason Malachi was hired to sing as Michael Jackson on the songs. In retrospect, this is a bigger musical scandal than Milli Vanilli, however, the news largely ignored it. If you wanna hear what Jason Malachi soun
