The Indieshop interview and performance with The Lassie Foundation (2000-01-05)
One of our very first in-studio interview and performances! The band had a relationship with two K-Beach shows, us and the Succubus Club (one of their songs features in Buffy the Vampire Hunter). Band member Jeff had also helped with a few station functions, and is one of the station's more illustrious alumni. About The Band
The Band were a Canadian-American rock band formed in Toronto, Ontario. It consisted of Canadians Rick Danko, Garth Hudson, Richard Manuel and Robbie Robertson and American Levon Helm. The Band's music combined elements of Americana, folk, rock, R&B, jazz and country, which influenced artists including George Harrison, Elton John, the Grateful Dead, Eric Clapton and Wilco.
