An initiative of the Walrus Foundation (thewalrus.ca), the theme of this national tour is "We Desire a Better Country", as 2017 marks both the 150th anniversary of Confederation and the 50th anniversary of the Order of Canada. --- Murray McLauchlan (CM) is a singer, songwriter, broadcaster, actor, and pilot. As a teen, he got his start playing in coffee houses and clubs in Canada and the United States. He has recorded eighteen albums and won Junos, RPM Big Country Awards, and awards from the Society of Composers, Authors, and Music Publishers of Canada. He continues to record, play, and tour with his group, Lunch at Allen’s. He lives in Toronto.
