Crossfire
'Crossfire' is selection #24 of 27 selections on my first album 'Run The Gauntlet' (1992). It is a solo album(all selections composed by me), in which I played all the Instruments and did all the Vocals. It was Engineered by Josh Silver(Type-O-Negative), and Recorded at 'Sty In The Sky' (Brooklyn-N.Y.) in 1991. On 'Crossfire' I did all Vocals(Lead, Background, Wind Sounds, and scary Falsetto), played Chimes, Woodblocks, Cowbell, Cuica, Tambourimes,I used the Keyboard FXs Gunshots(programmed by Josh) to illustrate the confusion of war, as well as a percussion instrument to complement my natural percussions.( This song is the last in a triology(first, 'Show Your Teeth And Dance/I Came For The Music', next,'Let's Play Politics') of songs on 'Run The Gauntlet' used to bridge the gap between now and what is known as 'The Great Tribulation'. One song leads to another and explains the other, anyway 'Run The Gauntlet' was/is an album exploring the 'Human Condition' whether right or wrong in its various forms and how it relates to GOD.) The Photos were done by Keith Hamilton, Paul Carlos and Myself. (c) 1992/1999 Hartley C.White Whopazootic Music Available through http://www.cdbaby.com/artist/HartleyCWhite (thanks for listening)
