TTV #13 - MARTIN ATKINS FROM PIL (Part 1)

Martin Atkins is writing a book about playing drums in the band PIL, (Public Image Ltd). The book is called "MEMORIES" - My Time In & Out of Public Image Ltd, 1979-1985. He is traveling around the world talking to music people he encountered during various tours with PIL. -And, he is finding it very interesting comparing his memories with other people's memories. Martin is also doing speaking events in these cities with his fans. It is a chance to engage an audience with stories that might be in his book and see what resonates with them and what doesn't. This video shows his public speaking event in Los Angeles. After leaving PIL, Martin Atkins had a successful career in the music industry. He has gone on to play in, record and produce other successful bands like Killing Joke, Ministry, Pigface and Nine Inch Nails. Occupations; drummer/producer/record label owner/writer, etc. (This is Part 1 of a 2 part video)
