Love and Here and After is a story of young love on the verge of being fulfilled when tragedy intervenes and cuts off the possibilities before the lead character, Miles, and the girl he has yet to express his love to—Adalyn, manage to tell each other how they feel. After Adalyn dies Miles is not only haunted by the loss, he begins to be haunted by the presence of Adalyn's spirit, who has come back because there are still things they need to tell other. Miles' friends think he's going a bit crazy from the pain, but he's not crazy at all. Final Love is a story that reminds us to tell the people we love how we feel about them before it's too late—not to let things interfere with that. And it also reminds us that love is the one thing we can take with us to the other side . . . and sometimes it is so important to express it, he who created us will allow this life and the hereafter to see each other and have a second chance to say, "I love you."
