Chaotic Riff's Magazine Interview with Original Blue Oyster Cult Drummer Albert Bouchard

This is the 2nd time I've had the opportunity to Interview Original Blue Oyster Cult Drummer: Albert Bouchard, the first time was almost a year ago when he released his last solo C: Imaginos which was a project that had been working on since he was still a member of Blue Oyster Cult. Blue Oyster Cult would eventually released an album called Imaginos which did not feature Alber so when he release his Imaginos album last year he finally had the chance to record these songs as he had always wanted to, kind of his dream come true if you will, and his latest solo CD: Imaginos 2 (Bombs Over Germany) which is the 2nd album in a 3 album series. The lead off single: "Od'd On Life Itself" is a fun, happy, upbeat Pop tune which is funny when you hear Albert talk about what he wrote the song about. I really enjoyed speaking with Albert, I once again found him to be really friendly, outgoing, and real energetic, man the Rock N Roll spirit lives in Albert Bouchard I must tell you and I was amazed to learn that he's 74 years old! He's got the energy of a guy half his age! Albert Bouchard is a Legendary Drummer who many of us first discovered in the band: Blue Oyster Cult which he was a founding member along with his younger Brother: Joe. While many people know Albert Bouchard for his Drumming I think it should be pointed out that he can also play Guitar, sing lead and his also known for his Legendary songwriting skills! 10/1/2021
