Oscar Sullivan * 1997 TMA Awards-1

Grand Ole Opry star, Oscar Sullivan kicks off the second half of the annual Traditional Music Association awards show. This year it was hosted by Suzie Rowles Country Music Showcase in Orrstown, Pennsylvania. It was standing room only. Grand Ole Opry member, Oscar Sullivan of "Lonzo & Oscar" formed an organization called the Traditional Music Association. I was a member of that Kentucky based group for several years and finally met him at the 1997 TMA Awards at Suzie Rowles Country Music Showcase theater in Orrstown, Pennsylvania. A personable and friendly man, Oscar even autographed one of my old Lonzo & Oscar albums that I had purchased back in the '70s.
