But its roots can be traced back to South Wales where the present proprietor’s great grandfather ran a boxing booth . . . HE may never have been taught to read or write but that didn’t stop the first John Scarrott from becoming a success launching promising boxers on to fame and fortune on the professional circuit. Rides that were at the Sixfields funfair: Super Star, Vortex, Twister, Meteorite, Matterhorn, Extreme Rotor, Orbiter, Miami, Waltzer and much more rides and attractions.
