Martin Sexton on Basic Folk podcast, ep. 136

Basic Folk host Cindy Howes talks to Martin Sexton on the podcast. Check out all our episodes wherever you listen to pods or at http://basicfolk.com Marty Marty Martin Sexton has been singing like a GD angel since his days busking on the streets of Boston in early 90's. To grab ppl's attention, Marty would impersonate a trumpet or get the audience to sing lines back to him. This laid the foundation of his magnetic stage presence that lights stages on fire to this day. He cultivated an audience that felt included in something bigger than themselves and in turn, he felt part of it, as well. We also talk about hard work, major labels, his huge family, unity, addiction and treehouses.
