En 1999, Gustavo Cerati lanzó su carrera solista, después de la separación de Soda Stereo, con la publicación de Bocanada. Este documental cuenta la historia de su grabación con testimonios exclusivos e inéditos de sus protagonistas: los músicos Leo García, Flavio Etcheto y Rudie Martínez, el ingeniero de grabación Eduardo Bergallo, la fotógrafa Gaby Herbstein y el arreglista sinfónico Alejandro Terán.
