Incidently enough a new album release was announced today of The Rolling Stones titled 'Honk'. In the announcement this can be read and manifested: This latest collection from the legendary band will consist of classic tracks and big hits from every Stones studio album from 1971 onwards, as well as recent recordings of 10 live tracks. ‘Honk’ will be released on CD, vinyl (a special, fan edition deluxe 4xLP coloured vinyl will also be released) and digitally. Spread across three discs, the final disc will contain recordings of the Stones’ live duets with the likes of Ed Sheeran, Dave Grohl and Florence Welch.

In the early 1960s, the band pioneered the gritty, rhythmically driven sound that came to define hard rock. Their first stable line-up consisted of vocalist Mick Jagger, guitarist Keith Richards, multi-instrumentalist Brian Jones, bassist Bill Wyman, and drummer Charlie Watts, after pianist Ian Stewart was side-lined...
