Deerhoof- Deerhoof vs Evil ALBUM REVIEW
Listen: http://www.deerhoofvsevil.com Deerhoof's 10th album is built on the same freewheeling creativity that has made their past LPs such fun listens. The album changes without warning from sound to sound and song to song, which only plays into the quirky attitude. The only major downside is this band's ADD cuts some potentially gripping moments short. The album definitely loses some memorability in it's brevity, because some of the best tracks aren't around long enough to leave a lasting impression. The band's buzzing guitars, breezy vocals, and intricate drums are sounding better than ever. They chose the perfect time in their career to take on evil, I think. Deerhoof definitely wins this match, but I wish they performed a fatality. Deerhoof wins! Evil loses! http://www.theneedledrop.com/loved-list/2011 http://theneedledrop.com http://bit.ly/tndsupport http://bit.ly/TNDTwitter http://bit.ly/TNDFacebook
