THAT’S MY DESIRE, The Fabulous Acchords, (CD Cut) 2007 Here is another really great cover version from my music collection. The Fabulous Acchords hail from New York and are described by the media as one of America’s top vocal groups. Their roots are embedded in the landscape of New York’s music history of who’s who: Little Anthony & The Imperials, Tony Bennett, Lady Gaga, Billy Joel, Alicia Keys, Sammy Davis Jr., Carole King, just to name a few. Group member Tommy McManus, founder of The Fabulous Acchords who achieved celebrity status from his appearances on ‘The Joe Franklin Show’, from radio voice-over commercials, movies, TV, and his group appearances at Westbury Music Fair and The Patchogue Theater. Tommy McManus has also written many songs in the genres of pop, country and doowop. Two of his original songs are “I SING THE SONGS" and " MY ANGEL” with Tommy singing lead and background vocals by Ruby & The Romantics. The other group members joining Tommy McManus on this great cover version of “THAT’S MY DESIRE are Phil Zezima (who had former associations with Kathy Jean & The Roomates, Aretha Franklin and Gloria Gaynor), Billy Regalbuto, and Vinny Pizzio who is singing lead! The Fabulous Acchords are recognized by their peers and the thousands of fans who follow their concerts to be one of the most sought out vocal groups in the country.
