I've never done a metal cover of a Star Fox song before, so I figured the new game on Switch 2 coming out was the perfect excuse to give it a shot. Star Map / the level select theme has always reminded me of Battery, Disposable Heroes, Seek and Destroy, etc by Metallica, so I decided to add as many references to those songs as I could in this cover as well as lean into the orchestral side of the original for more sci-fi vibes. We shortened the song for YouTube so be sure to pick up the extended version on Bandcamp or on Patreon. We'll see you next month with another video! ➤Metallica References 0:00 - Disposable Heroes 1:12 - Seek and Destroy 1:38 - One 1:50 - Battery ➤Stay Away From the Summoner is: Katy Scary - Guitar, Drums Leona Hayward - Bass, Keys Hear the extended version of this song ➤Support us on Patreon: https://www.patreon.com/katyscary ➤Bandcamp: https://stayawayfromthesummoner.bandcamp.com/ ➤Special thanks to Katy's patrons: Gary Prisby, Daniel Clamage, Will Swanson, Kvlt_of_Gaming, Jacob Elliott, Cam Tyto, Toki Saturnine, Jeff, Lords of the Trident, scunning, Rachel Steele, wulfguitar1, Pambelsnok, CSGuitars, Heidi, Bryant W Shea, Davey in the Sky, Savannah Reign, Queen Mother of the Universe, Garden, Mr. Feral, Gordj Scott, Colin Stuart, bendurginguitar, Animalisa Keys, Craig Russell, Jason Gallo, Athena, Jessica Lima, Mae, Riccardo I., n0ze_, roque cuellar, Alan Linenberger, Jon Bon Scropion, Leona H, NotBornVal, and PepsiWithCoke #starfox #vgmcover #starfox64
