The BriteHeart Story:
For the past four years, the BriteHeart Company's heart has pulsed with the beat of democracy. We powerfully march into battle daily with thoughtful words using our weapons of choice: dialogue, community, education, and art.
As we have navigated through 2020 and move into this tumultuous election season, we have challenged ourselves to invite others in. To listen to opposing viewpoints. To highlight people we are curious about, but may not understand. We choose to harness our unique perspectives and attach them to the rhythm and the cadence of our collective heartbeats together to create a shift. And Voting Is Vital, was born, to remind us that each one of us should have the privilege, right, and duty to speak. We wondered how we could get our community to engage and to VOTE EARLY.
So, we called on our friends, along with 18 of our musician friends (and their bands), audio engineers, directors of photography, editors, and a venue, and did the unthinkable. WE ASKED FOR HELP. We asked people to participate in community. We asked people to put aside personal gain for the greater good. We asked people to create something that is lasting, that is permanent, that is wrought with intention. And they all said YES.
And while the immediate goal is to encourage early voting, the ultimate goal challenges us to grow. As each of these creatives enter the center of the earth, they tell their story (through original songs). And as each artist emerges from the cave, their story becomes ONE chapter in the novel, that makes up the story of our country.
