"Everytime She Passes By" was the first single from "Where I Stand", George Ducas' second CD on Capitol Records...After coming off two straight years on the road from touring the debut CD, George jumped into the process of writing and recording the second CD, and "Everytime She Passes By" was one of the tunes he wrote in that pressure-packed time period...It's got a modern-day Buddy Holly groove to it...Written with longtime co-writer Micheal Heeney, who also co-wrote "Kisses Don't Lie" with George, from the first self-titled project. It was the summer of '99 when George flew out to somewhere in Suburbia Los Angeles to shoot "Everytime She Passes By"...The song was a big summertime tune, reflected in the mood in the video...Shot in a little "Edward Scissorshand-esque" of neighborhood in LA, and with the extra "Spice" of an off-the-hook mariachi band. These hombres always had big smiles on their faces...check 'em out on the pool side scenes in the video...
