Nicos Gun - Secret Sound Shop - Side A

When MTK Festival was cancelled earlier this summer, Secret Sound Shop thought that we had missed our chance to work with Philadelphia based electro rock quartet Nicos Gun. Lucky for us, a last minute trip to NYC meant that we got to spend the afternoon with the lovely Barney Cortez, Nick Bockrath, Andrew Black and Harry Zelnick in Williamsburg, Brooklyn. We stumbled across the guys already jamming on a bench outside of a grocery store on the corner of Driggs and North 7th. The group's well renowned energetic stage presence was not lost although they stripped their sound right back to perform an acoustic set, drawing in a crowd, including the lovely Zoe who invited us to film more songs in her garden.
