Served at investment banks J.P. Morgan and Hambrecht & Quist and as a consultant for State Street Global Markets. Education: B.A. in Economics and Engineering Sciences, Dartmouth College M.B.A., University of Chicago Ph.D. in Finance, University of Chicago (Dissertation Committee: Eugene Fama – Chair, George Constantinides, Tobias Moskowitz, Richard Thaler).

R.E.M. was an American rock band formed in Athens, Georgia, in 1980 by drummer Bill Berry, guitarist Peter Buck, bassist Mike Mills, and lead vocalist Michael Stipe, who were students at the University of Georgia.
