10.19.17 (DRUMCAM) Modern Bronze performance at DiPiazza’s in Long Beach, CA. It’s a drum-heavy mix obviously, but I uploaded the entire show because I had a blast and wanted to use this video as an educational tool for my students to see all that goes on behind the kit during a typical performance. I teach about the importance of having fun while controlling the pace of the show and nailing the parts, so this video acts to support that. For me, it also helps to use as an opportunity to critique myself on my playing as well as my grip, posture, relaxation, etc. Many thanks to the companies that have supported me along the way: Q Drums, Soultone Cymbals, Vic Firth sticks, Remo drumheads, KBrakes, Ultimate Ears, and Vratim. In the early 1990s, other alternative rock acts suc...
