Rik Emmett and his band in his earliest solo days! This is rare concert footage, filmed at a club show within the first year of Rik going solo after leaving Triumph. Rik is on fire during this show, along with his bandmates Sil Simone on guitar, Colleen Allen on sax, drum God Randy Cooke, Chris Brockway (who played in Rik's pre-Triumph band Act III) on bass, and Dave Tkaczuk on keyboards. This show was filmed by the Toronto-area's top concert filmer during an era when recording shows was difficult. Cameras were huge, artists were hotly against it, and the quality wasn't great. In this case, a handheld camera, likely VHS, was used to film the show. This is as low a generation of tape as I've seen of this show (the guy who taped the show lost the masters years ago). Not only is it the best quality footage of the show, it is also the full-length concert (up until now, only bits and pieces have been posted on the net). Fantastic setlist, and Rik's band is firing on all cylinders during this great show. Enjoy!
