A remix of Jane in Space's "Weightlessness" by legendary sonic alchemist Keith Hillebrandt (Nine Inch Nails, David Bowie). Available on Jane In Space's "The Remixes" (Aion Records), out now. Hillebrandt described his experience remixing the track: "My approach to remixing “Weightlessness” was a bit different than usual for me since the track was more of a classic “verse/chorus” structured track than I’m used to working on these days. Instead of turning it into a sound design art remix, I opted to take an already strong song and transform it into a very heavy version of the song, giving “Weightlessness” more weight so to speak. The key was the bassline that I ran through an amp and some speakers, and finding a way for it to drive the whole track as opposed to letting just the drums do it. I also couldn’t resist doubling up the choruses as I’m still a believer overemphasizing the best parts of a track in my remixes, and the chorus really got in my head from the start."
