Weehawken Fall Dance Show Clips
Snippets from Weehawken Dance's Fall production of "Polar Express". This particular production features dancers ages 2.5 to 16 who learned choreography and technique in our 12-week program (technique, of course, is learned over the course of years in most-cases). Dancers featured in this performance take classes in Ridgway, Ouray and Montrose, CO. The performance is offered at the largest theater in the area, The Montrose Pavilion. Our program is a non-profit 501c3 program and is supported by area businesses, foundations, the Colorado Creative Industries and individual patrons and donors. Scholarships are available each semester and are "sponsored" by individual contributors.
About Sine
In mathematics, sine and cosine are trigonometric functions of an angle. The sine and cosine of an acute angle are defined in the context of a right triangle: for the specified angle, its sine is the ratio of the length of the side opposite that angle to the length of the longest side of the triangle (the hypotenuse), and the cosine is the ratio of the length of the adjacent leg to that of the hypotenuse. For an angle θ {\displaystyle \theta } , the sin...
