December - Barack Hussein Obama
Our tribute to President Obama, released 11 January 2016 just after his farewell address. We choose now to celebrate a great man and president. He has graced the office and history will remember him as one of the greats. He reached for the better angels in himself and others and caused us all to look up. Thoughtful, considered, empathetic, kind and gracious. A good man. This song features on our album 'I Will Let You Have Your Say'; a collection of 13 songs named after people who have inspired us. https://itunes.apple.com/gb/album/i-will-let-you-have-your-say/id1143064628 Read more about the background to the song in our blog post here: https://december1985.wordpress.com/2017/01/10/barack-hussein-obama/ Follow us on Facebook at: www.facebook.com/december1985 and Twitter: @tilldecember Credits: inspired by then Senator Obama's acceptance speech at the Democratic Convention in 2008; song by December and Sandy Jones; produced by Sandy Jones at FML studios, Glasgow, Scotland All video footage used with permission and with grateful thanks.
