John Ellis Griffith, Jr. Pianist and keyboardist. Born 10 July 1936 (Detroit, Michigan), died 10 November 2002 (Detroit, Michigan). Also in Funk Brothers band from 1963 to 1967. In 1963, he recorded a Jazz album on Workshop Jazz Records, a Jazz label, division of Motown. Diring the 1970s, he recorded a Soul Funk album and some singles on Geneva and Triple »B » labels.
