New Music Releases: Beach House, Trey Anastasio, and The Neighbourhood It's time to close out October with the latest new albums from Beach House, Phish's Trey Anastasio, and The Neighbourhood. In this week's New Releases Roundup, we're highlighting the latest albums from Beach House, Trey Anastasio, and The Neighbourhood. Baltimore duo Beach House isn't winding down twenty-fifteen quietly! Instead they're releasing their second album of the year, Thank Your Lucky Stars. The songs were written just after the writing was completed for their other album this year, Depression Cherry, and both albums were recorded simultaneously. The busy band will be touring Europe, Australia and the States through March. Phish frontman Trey Anastasio, fresh off of filling in for Jerry Garcia at the Grateful Dead reunion shows, delivers a new solo album this week, Paper Wheels. Though Phish's studio albums have been notoriously uneven, with fans preferring the live show, Anastasio manages to harness his diverse influences, from jazz to pop to New Orleans music, into a record that stands capably on its own. In the past few years, Los Angeles band The Neighbourhood became a word-of-mouth success, thanks to their blending of electronica, indie rock and hip-hop elements, and tours with bands like Imagine Dragons. Their second album, Wiped Out, shows the band sticking to its millennial-friendly subject matter while incorporating more RnB elements and even a little funk.
