Some slight gating. Just pure vibe! Here I'm using my recently acquired Pearl Masters MCT kit. I'm such a huge Fleetwood Mac fan so being asked to join a tribute band (https://www.facebook.com/TuskTheFleetwoodMacTributeShow) was an easy call. Mick Fleetwood's drumming is so unique when you're talking about minimalist and earthy groove drumming. His idiosyncrasies and nuances do so much to colour his drum parts and add a bit of ear candy to the tune without getting in the way of the song. It's a great demonstration of how you can hold it down and add flare at a variety of dynamics to bring some identity to the song, without losing sight of your role in the group.
