AERIALS Police on scene after one student shot dead inside a school in Montgomery County Maryland

One person was shot inside Thomas S. Wootton High School, placing the school on lockdown Monday afternoon, police said. Montgomery County Police are investigating what they're calling an active incident. All that is confirmed is that one person has been shot as of 2:45 p.m. A person has since been taken into custody, according to Pete Piringer with Montgomery County Fire and EMS. The Rockville school's day ends at 2:30 p.m. on Mondays.
