Jazz Tuesdays is a weekly event featuring great jazz musicians from all over the state of Michigan. Each week brings in a different guest artist and a new experience. Welcome back the school year with an evening featuring some of the finest performers from MSU's Jazz Studies program! Our bandleader for the evening is Kazuki Takemura, a talented bassist from Japan. Also on the bandstand we have the extraordinary Luther S Allison, piano, and Tim Blackmon, trumpet. Jazz Tuesdays host Jeff Shoup fills out the band on drums.
