A grand old blues institution, the Wilebski's Blues Saloon, has re-opened in St. Paul. This classic old upstairs ballroom with tin ceilings has been the venue for many blues greats over the decades. No dress code in this informal setting... dance to your own beat. The only change from the old days is the air quality - the atmosphere may be smoke-free, but the music is still smokin'!
About Maurice John Vaughn
Chicago blues/rhythm & blues guitarist, saxophonist and singer, born 1949. He was worked with Professor Eddie Lusk, Phil Guy, Son Seals and A. C. Reed, recording with Reed, Zora Young, and Detroit Jr. He has also produced other artists for the Italian Appaloosa label.
