All music is originally composed by Chris and Matt. This song is a response to "What we've made - part 1". The songs tell the story of 2 friends, each part is one of the friends speaking to the other. Recorded in Croydon at Chris's flat in 2011. This track will be out on the new album, due for release in 2012. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Monitor-Sound/128190150615639 Thanks for watching! Lyrics Old friend, the time has come you took the key out and held it tween your finger and your thumb and slot it in the lock the dust began to drop as the lock creaked and whined as you turned the sublime oaken frame had turn grey in the light it had slumped on the left side and cracked on the right leaving only scars (leaving only scars) as a reminder of the wounds inflicted on this home we made love betrayed and trust, the foundation places we'll trade Dusty wooden panels on the walls now forgotten rotting in the damp dark room and it was you my friend, you challenged it and tested it so look where we are, what's become of what we've made it was a monument to love, now it's become a grave a tomb for our memories to explore So cut off your legs for we will walk here no more What do I think of you now?
