Recording session with Yungchen Lhamo
This behind-the-scenes video captures a few moments from a special creative recording experience with the legendary Yungchen Lhamo who is often considered the "voice" of Tibet. At the EarthStar Creation Recording Studio in Venice California, I brought my duduk which is an ancient Armenian woodwind instrument and had the profound and beautiful opportunity to improvise a musical composition with Yungchen Lhamo. The experience was nothing short of mystical and a friendship was formed. If you ever have the chance to see Yungchen Lhamo sing live, go because it is a transcendental sonic journey of the heart.

Yungchen Lhamo is a Tibetan singer-songwriter living in the United States. She won the ARIA Award for Best World Music Album in 1995 and was then signed by Peter Gabriel's Real World record label.
