We were just messing around with one of our mixes and muted all the music. It was pretty cool just hearing the isolated vocal tracks. Chloe’s voice with nothing to hide behind (even the harmony vocals) To be fair, we also included Dexter’s guitar solo all by itself. It’s kind of cool hearing the pieces by themselves. For this cool song, we wanted to pay tribute to the original 70s version by keeping a vintage sound while adding our own style. We used Fender gear, tube amps and some vintage pedals to give it a classic rock vibe. We've been getting inspired by classic 70s and 80s bands like: ACDC, Van Halen, Fleetwood Mac, Tom Petty, etc.and we're checking out some new stuff like Greta Van Fleet, The Pretty Reckless, Halestorm.
