I had just started to pick up the fiddle so he game me a double LP of Benny Martin. When this cut came on, it was like how is that even possible to play like that. I still think that today. As I learned a lick here an there over the years I thought one day I'd like to record that tune and get it as close to these two fiddlers as possible. Well, 40 years later and time on my hands because of the Covid-19, I decided to give it a try on video. I wrote out all the notes then I attempted to play them. Many more years of practice and I still wouldn't sound like these two Masters! Thanks for listening and watching my videos. I'd like to thank Hugh Moore for playing back up banjo on this cut.
