Limp Bizkit released a song-prank and confessed their love to Chester What is the track about? Nu-metal smells like a morning fresh again: Limp Bizkit released the first track in four years - and it's called so that it's hard to believe your eyes: "Making Love to Morgan Wallen". The song is already available on all streaming services and has become one of the most discussed releases of this week. From the leak to the official release A week ago, drummer and influencer Kristina Rybalchenko (aka Kriss Drummer) "leaked" a snippet of the song on social media with pictures, where she played a part to the trademark rhythm of Bizkit. In the video, Fred Durst (William Frederick Durst - vocalist) even appeared, reprimanding for the spoiler. Now the composition has been released officially: this is the first new song since 2021, when the band unexpectedly presented the album Still Sucks. Sound and Mood The track opens with a synth intro and immediately harks back to the band's golden era of the late 90s – with heavy guitar riffs from Wes Borland, powerful drums from John Otto and DJ Lethal's scratches. Durst reads in his trademark style and within seconds the head is already rocking. Lines with cultural references attract special attention, and absurd images like "microphone-waffle horn" or "high-five with a traffic light" create Limp Bizkit's signature chaotic world. What is the song about The track begins with the words: "Damn, I miss you, Chester Sending love from the bass compressor (Love you)," and then turns into a whirlwind of images and meanings In the end, it's a song of self-assertion and celebration of one's journey to success. The protagonist is portrayed as a rebel and an Outsider who has made it on his own, not playing by the rules ("without a job, but on shift"). He combines different genres and cultural layers — country music by Morgan Wallen, rock by Limp Bizkit, rap, and absurd imagery — to create his own world where he takes center stage. The lyrics are based on intentionally chaotic and grotesque images: a scooter with a cape at night, a hi-five with a traffic light, and a microphone shaped like a waffle cone. It's a stream-of-consciousness narrative that combines self-irony, humor, and cultural references (Chester Bennington, David Bowie, and Morgan Wallen). The song explores the idea of breaking away from conventional notions of success. It suggests that it's possible to be quirky, loud, and "wrong" while still being noticed and influential. The song becomes a statement about its own identity, expressed through a mix of southern absurdity, hip-hop, and rock rebellion. What's next According to some publications, the composition will be included in the soundtrack for the upcoming game Battlefront 6, which is scheduled for release on October 10. For Limp Bizkit, this could be the beginning of a new phase - after years of tours and rare studio recordings. #limpbizkit #instrumental #cover
