The Love Finders Band first performance in 2016, nine days before our rhythm guitarist was killed.
After a while getting some sets together, the new band gave it's first performance for family and friends. Recorded on a phone. We already had some gigs booked, none of us had ever played in a band before. Nine days later our rhythm guitar player was killed in a car accident on the way to our first gig, she was our bass players fiancé. We are all enormously grateful for the time we were privileged to share in her great light.
About Nine Days
Nine Days is an American rock band from Long Island, New York. It was formed in the hamlet of St. James, Suffolk County, New York in 1994 by John Hampson and Brian Desveaux, and released three independent albums in the 1990s before their mainstream debut album, The Madding Crowd, released in 2000. The band scored a hit in the United States from the album The Madding Crowd, with the single "Absolutely ".
