It makes them awesome. And this First Play Live session with the Trews is proof of that. The Trews are embarking on their 10th anniversary with a new self-titled album, and to kick that year off they dropped by CBC Music Studio 211 for an intimate First Play Live session in front of 40 superfans. The Trews performed their new material like they had been playing it live for years, and they brought out the classic hits as if they were still fresh and new. About The Trews
The Trews are a Canadian rock band from Antigonish, Nova Scotia, consisting of vocalist Colin MacDonald, guitarist John-Angus MacDonald, bassist Jack Syperek, and drummer Theo Mckibbon. The band is currently based in Hamilton, Ontario. From their formation in 1997 to 2016, The Trews were among the top 150 best-selling Canadian artists in Canada and among the top 40 best-selling Canadian bands in Canada.
