Civil Twilight Oh Daniel Cape Town 2014
Studio 7 asked the Civil Twilight band to unplug, bring out their acoustic guitars and perform in one of Cape Town's oldest Libraries and home to South Africa's first university - The Center for the Book. With a string of radio placements in the USA, and a well-developed audience, Civil Twilight spent the better part of the last year on tour playing the likes of Bonnaroo and Voo- doo Fest, opening for acts like Smashing Pumpkins and Florence & The Machine, and headlining their own shows across the country. Steven Mckellar, his brother Andrew, Richard Wouters and Kevin Dailey are the members that make up the sound to Civil Twilight's lush sound scape, haunting yet soothing at the same time. This time, thanks to Black Bottle SA for being so bold, they are stripping it back and performing an exclusive show for only 250 people in one of the oldest libraries and heritage buildings in South Africa. Here is a live recording of one of their latest songs called "Oh Daniel" which is to be released on their new Album ~ to be Launched in September 2014!
