Yeah, forget the Rattles, the Giants were better, but the best Live-Beat-Band there in the midsixties was the GERMAN BONDS. Sadly they never had the success they'd deserved. Especially because the records have not represented what they could do on stage. Wild and brilliant live, in the studio tame and lame. The records were boring, with the exception of "We Are Out Of Sight". The flipside "Sing Hallelujah!" still beats even the version of the Remo 4. As a disadvantage one might think that they never found support in the music magazines for their benefit and were not well promoted. "...the middleclass we hate!...
