Lonnie Johnson & Blind Willie Dunn (Eddie Lang) play "Guitar Blues" on OKeh 8711. By giving the name Blind Willie Dunn's Gin Bottle Four, the label lists the duo in a misleading way. "Four" is in the name, but only two musicians are heard. Eddie Lang uses the pseudonym Blind Willie Dunn. I assume a new name was picked to disguise the fact that a white guitarist is on a record here with a black guitarist. That kind of mixing was not generally done in a record studio (a few exceptions) or on radio. Actually, Eddie Lang itself was a pseudonym. His real name was Salvatore Massaro.
