They received their 11th Grammy Award nomination in 2014. In October 2015 Sly & Robbie the duo received the Musgrave Jamaican Gold Medal in recognition of their contribution to music. .
Lowell Fillmore "Sly" Dunbar was a Jamaican drummer, best known as one half of the prolific Jamaican rhythm section and reggae production duo Sly and Robbie.
