We always wanted to draw on the ENTIRE Red Hot Chili Peppers' catologue for our show, no matter how rare or early the material! Dave thought it fun to throw in 'Flea Fly' as an intro to the FIRST EVER song Flea and Kiedas wrote together way back when, the great funk tune 'Out in LA'. Sorry about the timing on the intro, we were all a little jacked on addrenalin and I guess we didn't know if it were a four count or a three count! Though, we did recover by the second beat pretty well don't you think? Hehe. As for Subterranean Homesick Blues, I'm embarrassed to say that I only found out that this is a Bob Dylan cover last week (the shame!)... I ALWAYS thought it a RHCP original! Even so, it's one of my all time faves. For those of you bassists wondering, that's a BOSS Dynamic Wah I use for the 'envelope filter' sound... does anyone think I should trade it in for a Electro Harmonix Q Tron? Please enjoy Flea Fly / Out In LA / Subterranean Homesick Blues, as performed by Blood Sugar Sex Magik; Australia's DEFINATIVE Red Hot Chili Peppers Tribute SHOW!
