In late 2012/early 2013, Tate Stevens embarked on a journey with a reality TV show called X Factor. A journey that would change his life for the good, while presenting some of the toughest challenges in his life. Tate won that singing competition, which rewarded him a $5 Million recording contract with Sony Records. What most don't know is what followed after reaching that level of success. Tate dives into his story that covers his entire musical career and some interesting stories from his time on X Factor. Tate also sets the record straight after some statements made by Travis Marvin in Episode 11, that some might view as controversial. Although we discuss much of his professional career, Tate opens up in vulnerability to share the physical/mental impact of all the highs and lows. My former co-worker and KBEQ FM - Q104 Kansas City radio personality, Jillian Gregg joins me in studio as a special co-host. As always, it's my goal to understand my guest on a more personal level by getting beneath the surface to learn of Tate's journey professionally and personally.
