Heyo folks, Lucke here! Hope you enjoy this short film documenting the music production camp set up by FOCUS Wales in partnership with ROC2 and Eternal Media here at the Bunker! As a bit of a muso myself I pounced on the opportunity to take this project on. I like to think of this as a film about musicians, for musicians, made by musicians who want to learn how to do music production. It was amazing to have such an event happen here at home sweet Wrexham which brought together some of Wales’ best music producers (Cian Ciaran, Llion Robertson, Seb Allemand) and some of Wales’ top new music talents. Growing up here I felt like I needed to go somewhere else to find something that spoke to me, but time after time, the bunker has changed that thinking. A moment that stands out for me was seeing Dan from Dan’s People hear his track Stardust mixed by Seb for the first time and seeing his belief in the song grow. It’s moments like that that are the reason for funding projects like these and that are going to drive forward the arts in Wales. Big thanks to the producers and artists who let me shove a camera in their face! Big thanks to those who funded and those who worked so hard behind the scenes just to make this project happen! *mic drop* *exits stage left*
